Last PM sent January 9th. This seems to confirm the Paymasters records that you did not make you February payment. What made you think your january 9th payment would have been good all the way to March 4th?

I didn't. I have been staying off the forums, in my own little neck of the woods, keeping quiet. I got a lot of threats due to what happened in the I'm paid up on my treat, got hit thread, so went quiet on the forums. I got death threats on IRC, so haven't been on that in a couple of weeks. I've been handling dealings with others in game only.

Edit to add (so I'm not increasing the post count unnecessarily)...

If I had to hazard a guess, when Paymaster Paul took my February payment, since he hadn't sent a receipt for the first month and didn't for the second month, he probably forgot to write it down on whatever he uses to keep track of payments.

Heceldi's log of the brief conversation between Dan and his friend Dummy (character's name, not my characterization) is accurate but incomplete. It leaves out an earlier exchange, in which Dummy claimed his friend Heceldi had quit, and that's why they had not paid for February and March. I offered to work out a deal with Dummy so we could have a working relationship going forward, where he would receive some partial compensation in light of his extenuating circumstances (but still keeping compensation for late fees and collection, as is policy).

Once it became clear Heceldi had not quit and this was a setup, that deal was of course rescinded.

Heceldi's claim of a February 9th payment remain spurious.

Being this close to the whole "CharlesM" nonsense I'm going to have to go with more GH manipulation to try to harm the Tribe image. Treaty Payers know that they are treated fairly.

I could direct anyone interested to several posts the tribe has forced people into making and another handful where the tribe has went to great lengths to ruin the reputation of another player.

also how come no one asked the question, where does silver extorted from players go to? are they selling silver for real cash? to buy stuff for their self use like expensive wallpapers and furnitures?

I'm curious... I have no legal qualifications or background and I have made zero effort to try and read up on it but maybe there is someone that has a genuine clue about this sort of thing:

Since silver can be bought with rl cash in this game (and any manufactured item has the potential of being derived in some way or another from rl cash spend) and since extortion is illegal in rl... is MM sure that they are not committing a rl crime by extorting players ingame for 'rl cash'?

Maybe this is a bit far fetched, I don't know, but I've found that when ***** with the law, it's best to try avoid having your defence resting on a plead of ignorance.
