You cannot lift anything while swimming. You should be able to re-board it while swimming, though. Not 100% sure, I try not to drown so I never leave the canoe in deep water

I read that unclaimed leantos decay and disappear over time, taking all stuff stored inside with them? Lost 2 in different places with baskets outside untouched and no tracks, they have been up for similar amount of time. No one ever mentioned that you can claim the land to destroy it without tracks either, I think this is important stuff for newbs and that leanto storage advice is *****.

You can only destroy the leanto without scents on a claim, you can never take out the stuff without larceny scents.

Everything will decay off-claim. Non-claimed leanto's ARE viable early-server.
