Thanks. What should I do after the chance to succeed pops up? Left/right click doesn't work?

Just select the option from the flower menu. You'll get a progress percentage like when crafting and so on. If nothing happens, all artifact slots of the equipment are filled.
I have neither the crayons nor the time to explain it to you.

15) Is 170 silver good price for a backpack? It's roughly the same for getting 6 leather.

that would be for you to decide. Is it worth it to you ? To me, it would be if I didn't have any tanning tubs/hunter abilities.

Thanks.
17)How to track someone? Got my leanto destroyed and stuff taken (nothing useful there), read that it should count as larceny? I did walk back to the place, toggled tracking, but can't see anything.

You have to toggle tracking before you get there.

Similar to turning on foraging or other walking modes, tracking won't affect what you are currently seeing. You must move away from the scene and come back, after which you should hopefully see floating red exclamation marks. Note that you are not 100% guaranteed to see all scents, so you might have to do it more than once.

Going to and from boston (as DarkNacht instructed me) while tracking is enabled will generally suffice, which is awfully convenient when it's right at your camp. Not sure how the mechanism for which scents are visible works... May or may not work to keep going back and forth to boston until you see what the highest number of scents visible at once is.

Thanks, couldn't find any though. Perhaps destroying unclaimed (but homestead) leanto doesn't leave tracks, but would be weird if taking sacks from it counts as larceny according to the guide.
Found decent location to pump mineralogical surveys to get all the necessary skills on my crafter, thankfully.
18)How many hours does it take to get to the darkness? I should settle at least 2 hours of wander from boston I think, but don't want to get too close to darkness either. Will be about 20 humours by then.
