9) I noticed that when I level perennial philosophy, it raises only by 100 and no other proficiencies are gained even when they're full. Is it safe to assume that if I don't specifically raise perennial philosophy, it won't be raised at all? Or I have just lost a lot of proficiencies when I could have raised other proficiency and still gain 100 perennial philosopy?
10)What does alchemy do? It's not listed in the wiki.

Yes, all other proficiencies will go up 2 if full and chosen, and 1 if full but a different one is chosen. Perennial will only go up by 1 if full and chosen and by 0 if full and not chosen.

Alchemy is explained in the announcement threads for it pretty well.

There are a couple of good help threads and other threads on Alchemy as well. Search Alchemy in the search function and some will pop up.

Thank you all.
11) How much yellow bile do i need to one shot cricket/timber rattler. Read that I need 15b/yb to solo a beaver, got 17 so far.
12)What are the best 10-20 humour food combos? I figured these without settling down:
Blood: crickebab+lavender blevit/berriesonastraw
Phlegm: wild salad + lean rabbit
Yellow bile: shroomsonastick+lavender blevits
Black bile:shroomsonastick/witch hat + crispy cricket/snakeinagrass.
Pardon any misnaming, writing from mobile.

i have little experience with such low humours without farmed stuff, I am sorry. Basically just go with whatever works, it won't be for THAT long anyway.

About yellow bile: From the salem wiki, it says that the damage from thrust equals 5*sqrt(current yellow bile/10). Snakes have 7.5 hitpoints so a bit of calculation gives the result of a minimum of 22.5 ybile to knock them out without any slots. Etterfangs will increase your damage drastically, as will polished buttons/flagstraps.
I have neither the crayons nor the time to explain it to you.

11) around 20 YB you can OS an engaged snake with a well timed bullrun without any slot. Why does it have to be engaged ? Cause you'd have a bad time bullrunning in the air near that snake if it moves at the moment you come to it. You can unlock this with Fast Moves, if I'm not wrong.

12) Not bad, I don't think there's anything better that you could do without spending loads of time building and learning cooking stuff.

Alright, thanks. Setup temporary base near a swamp to grind schrooms to get yb for hunting. Got fast moves on my hunter already.
13)Should I grind to fencing? Can buy the sabre for 90 silver atm. Not sure how the damage scales with thrust.

It's great imho, I would advise you to get it asap. With thrust hunting is a loot easier.

Thanks, got the fencing and works good. Although hitting anything with a slingshot is hard. Hit 20 yb and forgot about the food tresholds, now I have double the work since I have other at 10, sigh.

14) left-click the artifact (so that it's on your cursor) and then rightclick the clothes you want to put them in. You will not be able to right click if the clothes either have no slots at all or if they already hold a copy of that artifact. In all other cases (even if all slots on the piece of equipment are filled) it will display a flower menu with the slotting chance.

You take the artifact, and right-clic the piece of cloth you wanna slot. This will give you the % of chance to succeed. Note that you cannot slot identic artifacts in a single piece of cloth.
