Didn't MagicMan calculate here that you hit max damage at 60 braziers?

What did MagicMan calculate there was the number of braziers needed to deal 30 damage.

You can't reach max damage. Each additional braziers will slightly increase the damage. The more braziers the less damage increase. In the update announcement you linked total brazier damage limit was increased to 15x of a single brazier. But some time later braziers were slightly nerfed I think. I can't remember what are the real numbers now

Oh derp, you're quite right. But there is a max you can hit, because braziers have limited range ¦]

hehe, indeed. Let us know what you test it and find out what this max is exactly :D

Theoretical max damage 14,859 per tick.

14.859 x base (2.5), you mean?

Total area 23 x 23 = 529 - 1 (player) = 528 Braziers

DMG
= 3 / (1 + 528*0.2)
= 0,028142

Total DMG
= 0,0281 * 528
= 14,859

This is my understanding how it works :D I'm no math genius.

aye, but you use the formula where the effective damage asymptotically closes to 5 independent braziers, whereas (I think) the latest formula is to 15 braziers:

3/(1+528/15) rather than 3/(1+528/5) damage per brazier per tick. Also, anyone care to test that ? :D that'd be one hell of a set-up
I have neither the crayons nor the time to explain it to you.

What? There's a new formula? o,O

Wiki wrote:This drain is reduced ( dmg = basedmg / (1 + N*0.2) ) when within the range of other Torch Posts or Blazing Braziers

I thought the only variable was that "N" representing amount of braziers in effective area.
