It's "vit" then. Je vis, tu vis, il vit, nous vivons, vous vivez, ils vivent. "Vie" = life

PS : We're not gonna change this thread into a french lesson

I thought vie was lives. as in 'il vie' my mistake.

"Mushi Vit" has a good ring to it.

Cheena wrote:"S'il vous plait, continuez de jouer" I'd say. When you use "vous" with the present, verbs end with "ez". Like... jouez, dansez, rejoignez etc.

Actually, when using a structure such as this, you would use the infinitive when it follows a conjugated verb with a preposition (conj verb + prep + infinitive). Although in this circumstance, instead of 'de' you should use 'à' : Continuez à jouer. Mais quand même, c'est l'internet, donc on peut avoir des fautes d’orthographe et de grammaire.

It isn't always best to do a direct word for word translation. In this instance, it would probably make more sense, and be more applicable to say "Vive le Mushibag!" which is more like "Long live (the) Mushibag." (Vive is vivre in the subjunctive form btw, in case you were wondering.)

C'est tout! Bon courage!

Does this mean that you're back playing again? :D

Seriously, back on topic, please. Remember, it's an English only forum.

We are being quite on topic, imo... The topic, as suggested by the OP, is to try to have fun. Teaching French lessons to help players communicate with one another more effectively = fun.

Try again, sir.

Also, 80% of the reason Shenkho wasn't allowed to join our town was the language barrier. He then decided to quit based on that.

I'm pretty sure we now know why Mushibag could never win a fight. He has a background in French studies.

I do applaud your attempt, sir, but until we have moderators fluent enough in those languages and the overlord's permission, l think we should keep it to English. Those of us that grew up speaking English natively or at least as a second language are spoiled in that every game that comes out for an international market is in English, at least as an option even if not originally made with text and voices in English.

And to read the stories, the French were the greatest swordsmen in the world.
