Not sure if I'm one of the ones that said it, but the "bad" part I can see is that the game still has a good bit of development to go and the kind of crowd you'll be advertising to. Otherwise, I don't see anything wrong with this stuff.
Also, seems like I recall those beta keys were available through other sites than mmorpg.com. Not in the mind to go digging it up, though, and probably just thinking of something else at about the same time. <shrug>
Early it on it had more exposure than just mmorpg.com
You guys are looking at this the wrong way. Yes they should get the gluttony fix out of the way, but stuff like horses, witchcraft, and other stuff should be viewed as add on's not essential parts of the game. They need the population to get this game back on track and prove that it's marketable. L33L33 is exactly right with his ideas. Why this game isn't on steam I'll never know.
The game is free to play. It's a stated beta game. Use that to build a population that knows that it's going to change. It's highly playable now as is (more so with the gluttony fix). The high % hummus is getting used up faster than I expected and is mostly gone now. Tons of people have 10-20% hummus bins now and tons of boards are available in that range for sale (at least on Roanoke). The game is ripe for growth as long as they got it onto some of the sites L33 suggested. Yes it's a grind, but so are other games.
I'll promise a $10 donation to the first high end guy that starts live playing this game on Twitch on a regular schedule. There has to be a way to live play this game somehow without it affecting your safety.

As the river rolled over the cliffs, my own laughing joy was drowned out by the roaring deluge of the water. The great cataract of Darwoth's Tears fell over and over endlessly.
