new plots added, 9 guys moved in and laid plots down so far. going through private messages now but have a little over 30 to get through so going take a little bit. i am online now and for the next several hours for those of you that still need to get settled in.

Damn! I saw this only after 3 days of hardcore playing! I'm new to the game and I'm interested in joining. How do I change/select my server to jamestown,also, who do I pm to join?

You have to create a new character and chose Jamestown when you get on the boat and you PM Darwoth to join his city.

sorting through latest backlog of messages this morning, 14 people moved into town so far and folks are coming along nicely on their plots. starting to look like a city. added more plot spaces but need to expand them more to guard against splash damage before i let anyone move into them.

if you are one of the 20+ people that have messaged me about joining but do not have enough money for a plot you need to acquire that money before you can be a full member of the town because.......

1> your plot is where all your personal stuff is, a lean to isn't much good there.

2> having the above requirement helps me weed out useless people that will log on once and then never again and thus not waste time on them.

also do not forget that you need to send me a message here on these forums to start the town membership process as i need an out of game method of reaching townmembers.

in other news iotuegli, ultimax, specteo and iamah need to get ahold of me soon or they forfeit their town invites,

if you are one of the six guys that are waiting to put a plot down try to get ahold of me asap to get it done, i do not want to place district two down or send out more invites until all of the initial people are settled with plots.

14 plots and 17 residents, waiting on one more (that means you wendy!) and will then open district two and the next wave of invites. if you want to be certain that you are on this next invite wave send me a private message, EVEN IF WE HAVE ALREADY SPOKEN BEFORE as my mailbox gets swamped and you may get lost in the mess.

more plots added and ready to be moved into, indefatigable has been killed for attempted espionage, new batch of invites will be going out soon.

if you are one of the many (many) people that have asked to join the town but have not gotten a response it is probably because you have a join date of less than a week and/or zero posts, this means that you are most likely a waste of my time as you are probably someone that will quit in a week or are just a troll looking to annoy folks.

so either message me from your real account or do not message me at all.

if you actually ARE a real newb to the game and wish to join then you must do the same thing as everyone else, get the settling skill and enough silver for a 25x25 plot. (deed + 630 silver) this should not take long for anyone that actually tries (spend 2 hours collecting hay and selling it in town) and has thus far proven to be a pretty good tool to weed out useless people.

in fact, from this point forward everyone that messages me about the town please take the few hours or less that is required to learn settling and get enough silver for a plot before sending me a message as that is the first step to being in the town. (public lean tos are now only for alt/temporary use at this time)

here is a pristine example of what i was talking about in my above post. if you want to join the town do not be this guy or one like him, a large part of the reason folks are enjoying the town is because i have tried to keep retards out.
