Good Humours

Postby Etaliz » Sun Aug 25, 2013 3:35 pm

New to the game, I was wondering what is considered "good" humours. I've been playing a little under a month and I'm at 33 humours across the board. Is this good? Also, what kind of numbers do the top players have? I've read a lot about the legacy system and blah blah about how new players can't get as good as legacy players, whatever. I'm just curious what level humours those top players have.

I think with the gluttony system and tree purity etc. you won't be able to reach 800+ bile like a few player have ( not alot ). Most people i met have less than 150 biles so 200 is a good bile to have. It is not hard to reach 200 at the moment but the gluttony system is going to be updated soon.
By the way what server are you on ?

Entirely not true. As it stands no players with Legacy stuff have humuors higher than can be achieved with the current system. You should work on unlocking tier'd foods though because 33 is certainly on the lower end of the spectrum.

You can achieve what they've achieved but it will be much more difficult for you. They had the old legacy hummus system which was easier than what they have now. To fix this the dev's implemented the tiered food system which did help a little for getting people higher if they didn't have legacy hummus or food, but for those who maintained the legacy stuff it helped them even more. We're now at a point where you could get there but it will just be more difficult for you.

The top groups generally will cap out at 500 on a character and start leveling another one up. This is so that if they do lose one because of crashing in a raid or being trapped somehow they won't lose everything on a massive character. Some of them have passed that threshold and are much higher. The Candy Queen, Binks and The Chief are well over 500 now and are probably pushing over 700-900 by now. I wouldn't be surprised in the least if someone is approaching 1000 with one of their characters. Really it comes down to if they want to really go for it with their legacy stuff. I think most of them made the correct choice of having 3 or 4 500 stat guys rather than 1 1000 stat guy.

They can push a new character up to 500 in a week or two with legacy hummus, seeds, and lime.

Good evening Etaliz,

Please be aware that Claeyt tends to opine at length on topics he had little to no actual knowledge of. You would be well advised to discount his thoughts on this subject.

Faithfully,

The current 20% food is better than our old systems. (slightly but still better)

33 isn't bad depending on what you are trying to do. If you are looking for combat then you are WAY behind for a month played.

Also it would be a really good idea to put claety on your ignore list. Everything he told you is a lie.

I agree with Dallane. Basic chores like mining and farming are more easy with higher humours. But for example between 50-100 difference isn't that noticable. If you aren.'t looking for combat that is.

again another post fortifying earlier ones:

for PvE, you really only need 70-80 biles if you don't live in darkness (don't have any trouble with bears anymore). Probably 110-120 with some decent slots to not have trouble with argo's anymore.

if you're in for more serious playing, take care that you're not left without any fighters when a character dies. Spread out those assets! While claeyt had the numbers a bit wrong, the basic gest is there.
I have neither the crayons nor the time to explain it to you.
