Do we still have Jorb?

As for an update on the state of things, I'd love to, but I don't really have anything to say outside what has already been said; namely, that the gluttony system is what needs to be fixed first and foremost, because we feel that almost all other meaningful things we could do hinge upon it.

As for what I've been doing while waiting for that little spark of inspiration needed for the gluttony system, that, too, is as I told Chief in that interview thread; namely, code cleanups and rewrites and stuff that I never really felt I had the prerogative to do until I regained sole responsibility for the prioritization of tasks. I know it's not something that is overly interesting for y'all, but it has been extremely liberating to me. :)

As for visible changes, I have at least been able to make the water look a bit better. :)

I'm a bit puzzled by the above post by Loftar and some other posts. Is Jorb still developing Salem with Loftar or are we down to 1 developer now?
Or is Loftar referring to the break with Paradox?

You misread the highlighted part. Loftar is the sole programmer, and as such, he gets to decide prioritization for fixes and implementations. (Usually... I'm sure if jorb has a pet project he wants implemented he can talk loftar into it somehow.) While working for Paradox, as any company man can tell you, sometimes your boss has other ideas and wants you to get other things done. Since the split from Paradox as managing and directing (and thus funding) the game, loftar is once again in sole control of the order of things.

Alright.

So, I suppose Jorb is the game designer. Am I right?

The new water looks quite superior compared to the old glass surface.
