I'm pretty sure CQG and MM have cupboards upon cupboards of 90%+ hummus.

And seriously, if nitpicking over a couple of percentage points is the best you got, it's time to go home.

apparently you still dont seem to comprehend that my sole point was calling you on your ***** about "100% humus this 100% crops that" the hilarious thing is that all this deflectionary ***** of yours about 94% vs 100% and you have neither (91%)

Hardly, The Credibility of those making suggestions is very relevant to the changes being lobby'd. I showed Salem to somebody who never played and their first reaction was that your character needs to be able to jump and do barrel rolls. Should that become a priority? Why Not? Possibly because they have extremely limited knowledge on the systems that actually do require work? Similarly to the extreme limited knowledge you have on how gluttony, humours and humus are truly effecting the game world.

Learn the system so you can stop sounding so ignorant to the way it works. THEN meaningful discussion can be had with the others who have an intimate understanding of how it works and what requires adjustment.

Or keep making suggestions that your typical carebear would make...IDC really. But it is a bit sad to watch you comment with such surety on something you know so little about.

way to ignore the point entirely as usual, maybe your experiencing "diminishing returns"?

in any case i already pointed out the idiocy of you and the other newbs "waah waah wipe" mindset, as did numerous other people that you know, actually play the game and know what their talking about. it is pretty sad state of affairs when the absolute LEAST knowledgeable yet most blowhard folks for a game are those that moderate its forums.

Wiping item purity is completely different from wiping servers, bases, characters, etc. The argument to wipe Item Purity is a much stronger one than complete server wipes. However, the argument against it is that the items themselves can be stolen and the characters that have benefited from them can be killed. In fact, with permanent humour drain in play it is possible to make enough braziers so that someone were to lose more Humours scraping all your braziers than they could ever possibly regenerate with their legendary humus. Our base would be a perfect example of such a thing. The Candy Gang would use ALL their humus and then some just simply re-gluttonying their humours back up and would still not succeed in eliminating our Braziers.

The beauty of Salem is that there is a solution available to the players for any balance issue. Gallows Hill was not balanced against the Tribe because they had 33 people and were recruiting everything that moved. The Tribe's options were:

A) Whine and ***** that towns could have more people than us and argue that town rosters should be WIPED and caps should be placed on the number of players equal to how many we had

OR

B) Hit them where it hurts. use their mass-recruiting strategy against them and put somebody on the inside.

Legacy humus is no different. To maximize it players need lime. Do you think the major factions have town bells on their lime pits? Has anybody made an effort to assault their liming facilities to limit their ability to use it? How many players have attempted to trap a Titan inside a mine to effectively nullify all the legendary items he has consumed?

Mechanics to balance the game are in place, even against legacy humus. The Tribe mostly fuel'd our bins with raided goods (typically 0%) so when the patch hit I can guarantee we were at a HUGE disadvantage on the stockpiles of humus. Instead of complaining about it we went out and solved the problem by liberating it from others. An option that was available to anybody with 75 biles and waste.

You guys keep bringing up how I supposedly don't understand how the game works, yet you consistently fail to point out factually incorrect parts of my posts. This may come as a shock to you, but personal experience isn't the only method of acquiring knowledge.

Potjeh's base couldn't have been raided with a single guy with 75 stats and a waste claim. Once the hunt was on for legacy hummus, those who needed it least raided the most.

It comes down to that they should have wiped the hummus when the nerfed the bins. They didn't, it was a mistake, and now it's another mistake that's been built into the game and characters. A wipe solves all problems once they've fixed the ones they can. I said this awhile ago, but they're deving by responding instead of deving towards goals. When they started doing that the game was broken and a restart or wipe should have been their response.
