If the people who complained about titans and legacy hummus put half as much effort into the game as they do crying about this I'd guarantee they'd find themselves with nothing to cry about. I don't have a Titan but damned if I'm not making headway everyday towards it.

I addressed every point.

We agreed on more than you think. The only thing we disagreed on was legacy hummus, worms, and characters. My goals have never been to raid or PvP so there's no comparison to some of those things you mentioned. The dev's have admitted time and time again that they need to change gluttony and humour gain, hopefully someday they get it right so that we can start again.

Again, it's not impossible to get there. It's just harder now than it was before.

You do realize you did the same with him, right? L2P isn't exactly an argument, especially when one is talking about the game mechanics themselves.
This game has got quite some problems - and leaving legacy items that weren't obtainable anymore like high purity humus and worms is just one of them - that further unbalanced a game that was already unbalanced by itself. And yet people like the tribe and Darwoth - the ones that have no interest on things changing - are just talking **** on anyone who want to discuss about those matters. You can't even see that you're reigning on ash and bones.
And the devs don't seem to recognize those problems as well - heh, me and other people already pointed out the consequences about worms and humus when they changed how bins worked, as they were blatantly evident - and guess what, the game is dying, cause people have lost any interest in this game; and i would say that an userbase mostly made up of assholes is part of the problem.
Oh, you are free to think that all is going well and this game will go on smoothly. Keep dreaming.

Very interesting thread. Not many have kept my interest beyond the first few posts. I have played 7 months now. I play on Plymouth and choose this server before I saw any video or read anything on this forum. Once my toon was created I watched youtube vids and took all the advice on not letting strangers get near you, to heart. I have made it this far on the same toon I started with at a cost. I played as a hermit up until a month ago. I read what I absolutely had to, to pick up a few game tips. Wiki has it's limits and I personally would rather spend the majority of my time in game then reading the ***** drama that goes on in forums. So I literally played for many months before even knowing anything about The Tribe. In all the games I have played, the gang's were never a subject that fell into the "need to know" in order to play the game and play it well. Since then I have met Tribe members and have come to and understanding of how it is impacting the server from many angles. From domination, game morale, and the imbalance I and others now face in the struggle to build up and aquire purity items that enable us to continue to level our humors. I have watched my area of the map turn into a ghost state. Camp after camp abandoned. Not just leanto's, but big camps, and towns abandoned.

It is pretty depressing to have played for this long, 7 days a week, 10 to 12 hours a day and see the deterioration of this game. Then to come across this thread and see newbies being killed before they have even had the chance to get more then a skill or two. After spending another day out of many weeks grinding to try and get a fking worm to 2% purity or spending 4 hours a day trying to hunt down the ever elusive granite or lime beyond 4% to make some pots. Having realized I have hit a invisable wall where I cannot progress in this game without 30% or higher in purity. That appears to be near impossible to get. As much as I like the game, I am becoming increasingly frustrated and disillusioned with the imbalances that this thread is addressing. A player has to feel the characters they create have a chance to grow and prosper if they work hard and do not become complete jerkoff's to everyone they meet. Bad enough all the weekly patches have come to a grinding halt. People have to maintain a sense or progress and satisfaction in accomplishments to keep interest in anything in life. Players are no longer progressing for many reasons. The newbies killed off before they come up for air after getting on the game and figuring out the interface, ender's client, inspirationals and humors. Mid level players hitting glass ceilings where they are playing alone, and not growing in skills, or strength.

At the end of the day the forum bullies will likely pick my post apart as they have done others. You go ahead if that makes you feel better. But, remember this, this is OUR game not just your's. And we all have a right to weight in on this subject. How you greet new idea's and opinions, will reflect in the attitudes of players who do not want to be in this forum. This forum is an important influence to game morale. And for the most part the regular posters here are doing a pretty suck ass job at making people feel like they can invest in deed and thought to this game.

The worst part is the legacy hummus, really. Thanks to it those guys have purities you can never achieve. Of course, any mention of a wipe, even if it's just item purity wipe, is met with threats of quitting by these same guys (god forbid that they don't have a cemented advantage over newcomers), and they kind of are the only ones left playing.

when the purity nerf occured i had jack **** for humus (i was making flour out of my good ****, not humus) and a 250ish stat character as my only raider, i now have a decent (i guess) supply of legacy humus because i put the 100s of hours in to kill/raid everyone i knew that had high end **** BECAUSE it was so valuable, so yeah if my efforts were ***** for no other reason than potjeh and the others that will never be a top player (after all, raising stats is "boring" crafting high end gear is "boring") with or without legacy items cried the developers into doing more stupid **** then yeah, i would venture forth to new games to conquer those instead of redo everything from scratch in this soul devouring grindstone of a game for the 5th time.

Your logic is moronic at best.

250stat raider <- made with legacy humus "i didnt have jack ****".

I even doubt your honesty here because well truth be told i have yet ever to see anything youve said on theese forums to have much truth in them. Most are scams, trolls & pictures youd be banned for in any other forum/game.

1> 250 stats is pretty baseline for anyone that knows how to play the ***** game, with or without legacy or tier 3 anything.

2> the 250 stat character was not made with "legacy humus" because humus was not a pre req for planting, thus the reason i had no "legacy humus" when the patch went in *******.

3> everyone knows i am about the only pk/raider on the forums that IS honest.

4> cry me a river.
