The sea ends?

Postby simplex » Wed Jul 31, 2013 12:48 pm

So i went canoing from boston, cause i wanted to see if there are some islands somewhere. After some time, my canoe failed to continue onward. Did some1 do this? Does the world rly end without getting to the darkness at sea?

I kinda agree, there should be random islands east of the main citys, were it gets into darkness, and creatues of the water could spawn, and rarer monsters on the islands in the deep sea darkness.

Ye, but the thing is, I have traveled a lot to the east, and i didnt get into the darkness but just hit "the end of the world", where my canoe just stop, and refused to keep going on  I wonder if it only ends this way to a certain direction, or does it end on land too?

There are invisible borders in every direction.

This isn't minecraft. While the world may be procedurally generated, it is only so large. It's to keep everyone close enough in to have to fight over stuff, I think.

The Sea only goes out a little ways from the shore. There's not a lot of spawn squares to the E, maybe only 4 or 5 at it's thickest. Sea Monsters or Alligators would be cool.

I'd like there to not really be a world's end in our eyes. Sure, it can be there. But make the world's sea boarders darkness levels scale very quickly to the point where you can't get to the end without 1000s of humours

It would be great if instead of just reaching an edge the humour drain just continued to increase up to the point no one could continue on without building a chain of churches and darkness creature spawn group size should increase until you are being attacked by hundreds of Argopelters.

Actually i though that there is no invisible boarder, that there was just darkness going on forever, more thicker and scarier :/

There should definitely be some scarier stuff out there the farther you go into the darkness.
