how to get more scents and follow long time?

how can i track someone with a scent long time? when the charge exhausted i can't track more time. And how to work accumulate?

for every crime the person does you get one scent to track them ( 10 min ) i not 100% sure but i think that how it work .
if the scents belong to the same person you can accumulate it and add 10 min more to the time to track.

Triangulation is your friend. Learn how to use it. There was a thing with using a lean-to as a claim and going to get more tracking time, but not sure if that still works anymore.
