Village invite question, and digging question

Hello fellow Salem players

To make it short, two questions i hope you can answer:

1: How the ... do i invite members to a village? Ctrl+p menu gives me nothing, having a homesteaded lean-to in the village area gives nothing. Right clicking their names in the buddy list, as well as when standing besides them - nothing.

2: Can all "cliffs" be dug out. I'm not talking the ones that are 8-10 blocks high, but ~2-3 or so.

Adventure-> Government -> Annouce Citizenship <- (Not sure if it called that but its on Adventure, but can only be seen if your a Town Mayor)

Yes, I believe they can if you take lots of time on it.

There's two ways to make a "cliff" walkable. By digging at the top which, depending on the flatness of the edge, might not be possible. Otherwise you have to dump dirt piles at the base and build up a pile to the cliff edge. Given enough time and work, both might be possible on any cliff. I've flattened many visible cliffs, but never tried to do a really big one.

I used the same method Dele did. I dump dirt on the side of cliff that has been cut or missing. Build up to the height of the cliff, then start leveling it and taking it down to where i want it.

If you have the correct permissions on your town, you'll find this in the town submenu of the adventuring menu (where you can find swimming and such)
