- How old are the current servers?
-Will be there new servers in the near future?
- Which server is the best for a new player?
- And are there any chances to surrive without beging killed, raped, robbed... in a few days?

Best chances for happy existence is joining on Plymouth or Ronoake. Read up on the politics there first (on Plymouth reach out to the tribe and get the rundown on living in Plymouth. Ronoake reach out to the Candy Gang) jamestown is under the jurisdiction of one guy and he can only do so much so it's about as lawless as the bunch if them come. Don't listen to any of the nay sayers who will be here any second to say these are all ****** options. Reach out to those groups and you'll be fine.

Go with roanoke or jamestown as they are the most populated. Plymouth is single player mode with the others right behind it.

Which server is best for new players is a matter of opinion, in my opinion Jamestown is best for new players because it lacks the large powerful groups that love to screw with new players that the other severs have, but that does mean that the only law enforcement you can depend on is what you and your allies can provide.
Many areas of Jamestown are fairly peaceful and there are communities of hermits and small towns that will even work to help new players. Even if you play totally alone, if you play smart and build good defenses, or find a good abandoned base, with a little luck you can manage not to get killed or robbed(luckily the devs have not implemented rape yet). Also the powerful players on Jamestown have much lower humours then on the other servers so its easier for new players to defend themselves from the older per-purity patch players.
Plymouth or Roanoke have the benefit of large law enforcement groups, but this benefit evaporates the second you say or do the wrong thing and both the Tribe and CG have lots of odd and arbitrary rules that can change at anytime.

#1: The current Ply server is almost 1 year old. It is the original server where the developers play and all in-game developer events have taken place. The other servers are 9 months.
#2: No new servers planned.
#3: Best new server is Plymouth.
#4: You can survive on Plymouth by simply paying the Treaty.

roll on jamestown and head 2 hours south, long as you do not do anything dumb to draw attention to yourself until your stronger you should be fine.
