About fishing, I'm quite sure that "Reel In" and "Pull Low" are POSITIVE for "Red Herring", they don't give as much as "Resist", but still positive.

Small issue:

You can vendor regular hides for 4s or leather for 8s. On the Vendor Stalls page: http://salemwiki.info/index.php/Stalls

it shows a "Tip" about not selling the hides for 4s but turning them into leather for 8s. The problem is that in order to do that you have to buy a brain which is ~12s. Even if you acquire your own brain, it still costs you 12s b/c you could sell it.

Not a big deal, just fyi.

You are not guaranteed a buyer for that brain @ 12s. But you ARE guaranteed a buyer for that leather @ 8s (the stall).
