**** performance

another example of unprofessional *****.

Image

have been sitting here off and on all day trying to get the games **** client to download without corrupting half of the icons, after sitting around waiting for a half hour or more for the "HUGE" client to download off of the garbage servers then realizing it is still ***** and trying again another dozen times i guess you would say it is getting old.

half of the items show as question marks, clothing, hair and equipment is not loading all the way and now even 2/3 of my ***** skills in the skill list wont load past a string of dots meaning i cant do/make/build anything

hope this is not a prelude of things to come when tweedle dee and tweedle dum take over entirely from paradox, having a 5 - 10 second rubberband spike every 3 minutes wont work in this game like it "does" in haven.

so mad, while this is probably your own damn lack-of-knowledge-of-computers fault ¦]

on a serious note, I had the same at the very beginning of salem beta, turned out to be my computer configuration

haven't changed anything about my computer in months and it was working just fine last night, server is simply not putting out an uninterrupted stream and it is ***** up **** when trying to load the game, dont know how it is in euro countries or if that is even where the servers are located but performance has taklen a massive **** over the past few weeks both in game and on this website.

further adding to my point is that i was finally able to log on during a "normal spike" and the character is as it is supposed to be, minute later with second client however and it is go ***** yourself all over again with that one as there are different things that need loaded on it.

I have no issues at all, today and in the last few weeks, I do however use my own client, not Enders or Vanilla.

I guess you already did a full reinstall of java & salem ?

the trouble is with the servers not the client.

Or the connection between the server & the client (which I'm 99% sure is the case)

like I said, I experienced the exact same thing as you had before, fixed it by messing with my configuration.

I find it extremely amusing you defend something like this and then claim you are using your own client due to issues. Any game where players have to conjure up their own Clients is a utter piece of garbage game anyhow. Personally i had hopes they would fix the original client or just simply backing enders after a while however my faith in Jorb/loftar has since then plummeted.

Now to the issues Darwoth is experiencing, As i have not played recently other than to fill the parking meters of my claim. You could try resetting your router and hope it'll improve if not you just get to wait(which seems to be the endgame of this game)

I still use Enders Client, I just have some small modifications on top of his client (fps, coörds, etc..which are in no way necessary) and I host those files on my own webhost. ("using your own client due to issues" -> where did i say this?)

I won't comment on the rest, the rage look strong in you !

do you wish for me to post more where you claim to experience same issues due to your "computer configuration" funnily you didnt really delve deeper into what configurations you are talking about.
I merely found the hypocrisy of your posts with darwoth amusing and commented. Not here to argue.

Can't say I have ever seen what Darworth is experiencing, that is quite odd. I have ofc seen some icons not load and stay as question marks, however that usually goes away after I close Salem and restart it, or on one case had to clear my Java cache on a stubborn instance I vaguely recall a few months ago.

Never seen the skills do that!

I was taking a Salem break the past week but I did come back yesterday to play a lot and the communication with the server for Roanoke seemed just fine. I noticed that some people were having problems with Jamestown though, right? At one point I think Friday night Roanoke went down and then next day Jamestown so maybe you were affected by that?

Are you still experiencing this today?

Can you try logging into the other servers just to see if you get the same problems there?
