destroying brazier

Postby Darkside » Wed May 15, 2013 6:51 pm

I am trying to destroy a brazier on my claim which is positioned poorly and I am finding something odd occur... it seems like I am doing just fine until I reach 50%, then it suddenly becomes really tough to do more damage to it. I am constantly maintaining my phlegm near peak value so its not that. My other bils all filled too.

Its as if once you pass 50% on it, it suddenly has a higher soak value?

This seems to be correct.
For most purposes (namely, deactivating them) braziers are generally only damaged up to 50%, since that is when they stop firing
I have neither the crayons nor the time to explain it to you.

phlegm is at 51. I slice up pumpkins so I keep eating to keep it high and pause when the drain gets me below ~45. But its taking forever. I clearly need to raise my phlegm in order to finish this otherwise i will need to consume 1,000 pumpkins!

I have the same problem. How strong must I be before I can fully destroy a brazier?

Soak value increases the further destroyed a Brazier gets. As time goes on the playerbase will soon see how overpowered defenses are.

They stop firing before they get their soak value, so what is the problem? Raiders only need to deactivate them.

An active player needs to only put (1) iron bar in to repair it from 50% back to full. Something easily done while you are running off your crimes and you must start all over again.
