You make it sound like you heard that we suck.

Tips:
1. Read, read a lot. Read the forums, read the wiki, and finally read Dallane's post history.
2. Don't die: Don't trust anybody and don't just close the client if you feel that your life is endangered...use the menu to log out, or press : to bring up the console and type :act lo, or just :lo.
3. Take it easy, nothing comes fast in this game, if you are expecting instant gratification just quit now. Otherwise take it slow, and you will be rewarded with progress.
4. Get plenty of rest, and time off of the game. If you feel that you are playing too much, you probably are, and your real life will die if you continue playing at the same frequency.

5. If you get frustrated feel free to RAGE on the forums, so we can call you retarded and ****.
