I agree with martinuzz, I started planting tree's a while back, lost 1 generation and said ***** it !!

Heh, the RNG is messing with me now. I just complained in this thread about some trees not having respawned saplings in 3 months....

I just harvested and planted some 20% salt cutlings less than 2 days ago. And they've regrown on the tree already.

So, yeah, if sapling regrowth works anything like H&H's decay hits, it can take 1 day, or 1 year for saplings to regrow.
Did Claeyt shut up yet?

Goddamnit!

Someone (with also good proficiencies) gave me 2 lead saplings.
3d time in a row now, both died.

That's 6 out of 6 failed.

Please, change this mechanic

I agree to adjust this chance..

I have frequently lost generations of trees to the point that I can barely push it past 33 element.. (from scratch, no legacy for worms or anything) I would also like the worms generated during composting should be set at the same elemental value as the humus so that the following humus is not effected by the worms presence. my humus went from 32.20 to 31.97 with the introduction of 1 worm.. when every point counts each RNG attack on you hurts.. (I have easily managed to get my crop purity higher than my humus purity through RNG so it helps in some places)

I always hated this failure chance from the get-go. Please just remove it.

Sowing a field never fails.
Planting ANY other plant in a pot never fails.
Why must trees suffer this abominable curse?

Or at least make trees regen cuttings every week...
