How do you "get together" as new characters?

Me and my girlfriend created new characters and were wondering how either I can go to her lean-to or her to mine so that we can start out together as new characters? Can anyone explain if (a) this is possible and (b) how to do it?

I thought I could enter her homestead secret word at the guide from town to go there as a new character.

One of your chars have to get a little headstart so its able to build a claim stone and there by setting a "secret word" the exact skills/proficiencies that needs levelling before gainging this this ability slips me atm. but it can easily be done in a few hours ( if i remember correctly the skill "Lore of lumberwoods" is essential).

So I guess the only chance to teleport to a friend is when you create a new character. Afterwards, you pretty much have to travel by foot if you want to go to another friend's claim.

One character needs the Settling skill.
I would suggest looking at the world map picking a terrain type there and then walking to it together. You can check stumps along the way and get your proficiencies really high

i Have settling skill, and i can\not get my friend to teleport there! He types my kin secret to the wild guide. but nothing works. he still teleports to a random plase! What to do?

When your friend enters your secret, tell him to press 'Enter'. If you don't press 'Enter' the secret is ignored.
