Coming here, trolling moderators and the two larges groups on Plymouth without contributing something substantial as a proof that you have to be taken seriously. Btw. writing down a list of games you played in your life and "achievments" in other (non-sandbox)-MMOs prove nothing more than that you are able to command groups in a voice-chat. This is noteworthy but wont help you much here.

Anyway: You have already ruined the first impression by presenting yourself as a trolling forum-warrior, therefore i wish you good look in finding enough people to challenge the tribe

YAY my own thread, I feel quite privileged. Also its "achievements" (I felt like being the grammar Nazi just once in this forum, I could care less about spelling mistakes, no ones perfect.

Also believe it or not, I don't normally use voice chat, I'm not big on talking plans, but I may end up doing it.
As for this whole trolling forum-warrior, I have been called worse in other situations, point is the me caring about what you say is reverent to me. Everyone has their opinions, that is respectfully theirs, but just cause I respect the opinion does not mean I should necessarily care.

I confess, I mostly skimmed your posts, they are just too long and go off on too many ranting tangents. But the idea I get is that you're very new to the game, you want to go up against the tribe, you have only a very nebulous idea of the politics of the server, but you know that the tribe are the biggest shots on Plymouth and think damaging them will get you a badass reputation fast, and you have no idea how to effectively bring down another organization. Also, were you one of the ones who died last night in the tinder drill challenge, or one who lived? I'm sure you must have been one of that group.

Think this is about obtaining a reputation? Nah, its more of "Someone thinks they are superior thus they need to be knocked off their high horse". In the past I am quite known for taking out the "Bad guys" at it were. You see I wouldn't mind the whole treaty thing if it wasn't all *****, "sign or die" Idea, you have going on. Coming to me and asking me if I wanted to sign it was a bad idea since I don't do surrenders.

Now if it was simply a, "You don't have to sign, but we won't protect you from raiders outside the tribe," then I be more then happy to role-play as the tax player. As for this whole dying thing, I have yet to play this game so I have no clue what this whole "night in the tinder drill challenge", seriously that is the 2nd time someone said that I was in this "thing", enlighten me on what that is all about? Hell even "Chief" there said I didn't even download and make a character yet...so how can I have died if I have yet to play? :D.

And reading the blah blah blah from the tribe posts before this, it is, the usual "he is not on our side so I don't like him", such as Khaztropix. I love typical followers, always so enjoyably predictable.

Who doesn't love a flashy entrance, I mean seriously...I thought I made quite the impression among the players of Salem, rather it was a positive or negative looking, I made an impression

Who told you I was waiting at the spawn? I see you have already made friends with somebody in this thread who alerted you that I was spawn camping you. So much for taking us on by yourself eh? Thats ok though. I have all-day. You better hope you can run really really fast as soon as you log in. I would begin clicking the minute your loading screen goes black.

By the way, no one told me you were, I simply knew. Like I said I have many experience in many games, I just know how PREDICTABLE you are, hence why you will be so easy to take down. I faced people like you, and they all do the same thing, hmm sad really. I just wish I could fight someone more of my caliber. Seems like I'll just have to play with you until you also break, a shame, truly.

Like I said enjoy the long waiting, I can sleep, go to my job, do some charity for two hours (4 hours weekly) and laugh while you sit their and waste your time while I could care less. Easy on the Mountain Dew and Doritos, don't want ya dead in real life before I kill ya ingame, would kind of kill the flashy entrance bit and being obviously to late for the party.

Well, it took a few hours to read all of this mundane crap spew known as a thread (and some others posting in said thread of links to other threads). After all this quote/unquote "enlightening information", I decide I shall post what I gathered, but first off allow me the pleasure of introducing myself. You may call me Sky Cardis (or one of the 2), but I prefer just Sky to be quite honest. I am the grand leader of many Guilds through many...MANY MMORPGs, almost all of them named Shining Force (reference and respect towards the Sega Genesis Shining Force and Shining Force II). For the humor of all that been posted, I feel like having a bit of a laugh, so in this rare moment of such an occasion, I shall make many reference to many things (usually in parenthesizes like this), so if you find something funny in my posts, I'm pretty sure its because it was meant to, so all you try hard trolls come at me ¦] "Wanna bes can't be me".

However enough but me, back to my topic at hand, and don't worry, this will have a bit to do with the treaty, but I want to get the off topic thing out of the way:
Now from what I learned I gathered some information about the players, I shall start with the oh so called Moderators 1st, sop prepare for the butt-hurt/rage cry from them. Now I won't name names as it clearly should be obvious whom I refer too. One is moronic wanna be of a troll that can only think of "vision quests" and "suck puppets" (Mankind wants Mr Socko back, we know what you do with the poor thing since your fascination with sock puppets) , if he was an adult he be smarter then this, maybe simply a mentality thing I suppose. Also I noticed all Moderators are *checks through of words that are not overly offensive* Ah here we are, "Biased, self centered, and the statement made earlier about them. I get it you pick a side, trust me I get that, and power to you, but being rude to people and mod abusing because they don't take your side is NOT the way to go, Moderators should be respected and be respectful no matter which side they are on, serious this HAS to be your first time even being a Moderator in anything if this is how you act.

Now for singling out players:
Now from what I gathered I see the predictable stupidity of "They don't take my side, they are dumb I is smart" crap. There is really only one guy that I seen that is truly UNBIASED, and this is a respected shout out to Claeyt, nice to see some mature people around who still think straight through all this garbage.
We have the classic worshiper to whom writes useless "inspiring" crap that only the one they kissing up to likes (and the toadies), shout out to your desperation Gallient, there ya go.
We then have Mereni, a worshiper as well, but a lot LESS annoying, but more of a wanna be troller that can't think for themselves, thus needs to follow someone and constantly support EVERYTHING that person does.
We have Ikpeip, well to be honest I don't have much to complain about on this guy, yeah hes a douche that breaks his own rules and says he doesn't, but that is about it, I can tell he IS an overall nice guy non-business wise
*sighs* Then we have the so-called "rebels", my God where to begin, I can't do them separately because they all think as a whole and say the same thing. I'm all for rebellions and such (chaos is always fun once and awhile), but what you do is insanity (doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different outcome). All you guys do is gripe, trash talk, nit-pic, get sissy-pissy (I just thought that was funny to say) when you finally get attacked, and just over all useless excuses for rebels I have ever SEEN in an MMORPG, you make The Underground (A Guild I made mostly made of rouges/thieves/murderers in some Minecraft servers) look like Gods of rebellions. Seriously, do something or keep quite (put up or shut up).
Lets finish this with the big man himself, Chief Whats-his-face...I can't even care to remember *checks* ah jwhitehorn. All I seen are desperate wanna be trolling (mostly with pathetic pictures like this http://www.mercilessmidgets.com/salem/kulappear.jpg, seriously, are you that LAZY to do anything GOOD as a troll attempt?). You are not God, hell there is a reason your so called "reign" in Worlds of Warcraft ended/didn't last very long. Yes yes, you make a group that controls a server in some game, good for you (not being sarcastic), I SHALL give you praise on that one, but here's the kicker, so have I, but I joined LATE in games and done this (not come in Close/Open Beta), and still became on-top and without using money with the Cash Shops (which in of itself is rare anymore). I find this funny but...In the end, none of it matters! What I do in the end WONT matter, what you do WON'T matter, allow me the pleasure (humor me on this) of a famous quote from the greatest Game Villain of all time (personal opinion):
"It's not enough...Destroy more...have got to destroy more! Destruction isn't suppose to make sense! It's only fun when its senseless!
Why create, when it will only be destroyed? Why cling to life, knowing that you have to die? None of it will have meant anything once you do!" ~Kefka, Final Fantasy VI~
All in all this is a game, once you die (in real life), or the game dies out, none of your triumphs, none of your victories, will ever matter in the end. This is a game.

Now that the introduction and opinions of some of the people is done (so called player-bashing...if you want to call it that). I can get on with all this treaty nonsense I been wasting hours reading.

There are two forms of "Peace Treaties". The first is a non-warring pact, both sides either lost to much from the constantly fighting, or both sides want peace (or even a mix of the two), this is a binding agreement among the two (or more) leaders, made and greed by all parties involved. Then we have "this" Peace Treaty." Where the oppressor wins in the end and the other side gives in to avoid more pointless losses, HOEVER this is not actually called a Peace Treaty, as much as you would LOVE to think it is tribe, but it is not. You see this is known as a "Surrender Agreement" or "Declaration of surrender" for more formality. I read the posts of the players, I read the agreements of this Treaty. All in all I am afraid I must take jwhitehorn side on this side. Even if his Treaty is poorly translated into what it really is, he HOLDs the CARDs. He is the oppressor, he is the victor, no one can oppose him, in his right he can do what ever he wants. Like the instance with Kulbek, (yes I do feel for you I truly do), but you have no room to demand or negotiate anything (you are free to try of course don't get me wrong), but he don't have to care what you feel, what you think, there is NOTHING to prevent the tribe from doing what they want, they can backstab, back down from a deal, and of course kill you for being a Russian (which honestly is VERY obvious racism on the tribes part, which is made CLEAR). The only hope of any change is either A) jwhitehorn dies in real life, thus the tribe dies off. B) The Rebels ACTUALLY DO SOMETHING and over take him. Or C) He gets bored and stops playing, and judging all the choices, each option does not seem to be happening anytime soon. Here is the sad and grim view of things folks, jwhitehorn and his tribe are maintaining order, as dark and twisted as it is...lets say one of the options DID happen...then what? Who is going to protect you from the raiders/murderers. The tribe sure as hell won't its a headless chicken incident. Once people find out he died/lost his reign/quits, all those who wanted to cause havoc in killing and stealing are going to start popping their heads out from the dirt seeing a new day. No one to protect their preys, no shepherd to stop the wolves. Let face facts folks (like I always do, FACTS), he IS the lesser of two evils, you do at least have some "security" and "some is better then none".

Do I dislike his style? Yes
Do I dislike his motive? Yes
Is he the reason most of you are still here? Yes (somewhat debatable).
He is in change, he calls the shots, he does what he wants until otherwise.

Now lets look at this at ANOTHER standpoint. Hes the tyrant that will kill for anything reason, anytime, whenever he wants (like he does, well at least his minions will). Name a story/game when there was no antagonist (don't give me so some child/toddler learning book crap either as an example or children book with morals). A story needs a villain...NEEDS it. If there is no Villain, you cant have a Hero. No Hero means no Protagonist. No Protagonist means NO STORY! We make the story, we are the story tellers, WE ARE THE VILLAINS AND WE ARE THE HEROES!!! We make what RPGs are all about, the players! Playing their ROLES! If you see him as a villain, stand up and be the heroes that oppose him and take him down! If you see him as a hero, then take up arms and defend him!
Pick a side, I do not care, if you don't want a side or don't want to fight, then that is YOUR story and I respect that fully.

Where am I mr Sky ???

Well, I haven't really formed an opinion about you, because you have not made a large impression to me yet. However I do not mind knowing about you however. So if you want to, tell me about yourself, I'm all ears friend (well...eyes, but yeah, you get the idea XD).

Meh...biblical reference, I give you credit though IF you didn't have to google a troll attempt. If you KNEW this without needing to search for it, then power to you, you gain some respect.

Ah yes yes, I read your execution posts (the opening thread one), sadly I didn't not read much of it (not insulting you mind you, just was busy at that time of looking). The pleasure to meet you alloin. And what I can say is if the people are happy with you, then I'm happy with you as well, rare to see people with power not going corrupt anymore. It gets to the point where I want to say "I'm getting to old for this hero stuff" XD
I can't remember where that reference originated from!!! Now its driving me nuts XD...oh well many "heroes" that are usually old say that any way

I admire your courage, OP, and welcome you to the wonderful world of Salem. If you haven't already, I strongly suggest playing at least for a bit. Should you waddle your way into a position that poses a threat to the Tribe, all the better. It's been too long since there was a formidable challenge to our Heroes of Plymouth.

And when the day comes where you fall, your scalp is posted on the forums, and an animated GIF is made in mockery of your sexual preferences, please make a new character. Because beyond the trolololing and the mudslinging and the general shenaniganery, Salem is a game about death and how you deal with the prospect (opportunity) of starting over fresh with the experience you have earned.

I think you make a better Jogurt than Domingo.

The tribe is apparently already threatened by me based on what the "Chief" been saying.
Like admitting to spawn camping waiting ever so desperately

Yeah yeah, screenshot gifs don't bother me, just a sad troll attempt/mockery. And when I kill the chief I may make a video of me throwing his hat into a fire (if that is even possible anyway), I have no means to keep it when I do. Destroying such a rare item given from the devs...that makes quite the trauma for him. If he gets another then either A) Hes admin or B) He cried to the Admin, either way humors me greatly.

You the difference is, this game IS his life, one death is everything to his main. Me? I could care less how many times I die. He loses his pride more then anything.
