Anyway to lower a specific bile?

Hey guys,

I started playing Salem a while back and as a noob I accidentally raised my black bile to extremely high numbers. Having gotten back into playing (I was gone because of Java support for Mac keeping me out) I now realize my mistake and have been having a real headache trying to get Blood, Phlegm, and Yellow Bile back up.

I know that Devil's Wort can be used to control blood but is there anyway to get my black bile back to a reasonable level so I can get my character balanced and start progressing normally? Any tips would be appreciated.

The only thing I know is by braziers, ( phlegm will decrease too and I have no idea the cap stays at the old level )

Except for braziers, nope.
Devil's worth also cannot lower Blood.
The only thing it has, is a negative value on gluttony event.
Note that braziers will most likely KO you, if you don't have high biles to start.

Honestly, my B/P/Yb figures are 20 vs the 40 my black biles at. So you can imagine having to aim for that 40 count in gluttony just to have to scoot the other 3 biles forward a bit so they can catch up. It might be just an issue of resources in terms of getting them up also since I've always mostly played the wanderer/hermit lifestyle but managing a base seems even more of a chore at the level they are at, hence my trying to get them up to begin with.

If only I could go back in time I wouldn't have eaten so much of that colewort and I wouldn't be here. Damn lettuce addictions.

20 points difference is a pain, but can be overcome. If it were any more though I'd advise rolling a new character.

Yeah, that thought crossed my mind. That and turning tricks for 40 point foods to get myself back to normal. I'm going to just see how the next few days go in terms of grinding them up but with 3 of them down that low it might still be easier to do that unfortunately.

20 biles is plenty to start farming and baking...tbh, I'd always rather have higher blackbile on a new character for studying.

Yeah. I'm just going to power through it. Once I start getting settled and can actually work on getting the better foods and abilities to get them it won't be as hard as it seems now. At least my colewort binging days are behind me.
