Recently returned, Door problems

I have recently returned after a small break from the game, Upon returning, my compound, which has stone walls and gates. The gates will not open, I am effectively trapped inside of my compound, or forced to TP to boston. I have repurchased my claim, thinking the doors were broken because I did not own the land anymore. However after extending my claim back to its original size, the doors will still not open. Aside from breaking them down and building again, is there a way to fix this?

Probably someone else had destroyed your gates and replaced them, and locked with their own keys. So you will have to break them and rebuild again

...or they just put locks on your gates if they didn't have locks on them.
