Jorb mentioned wiping the map in the "wee hours" of sunday night, Swedish time, so that's about 5/6 hours from now.

i "love" the whole take a point of damage for every scent you leave thing, that coupled with the fact that standing around with a bandage on your head for 65 years is the fastest way to heal up they eliminated the most fun aspect of a new HH server, which was the newbie wars and newbie raiding for stupid **** like windsown seeds.

now the only raiding that will take place for months on this new server will be when an 8 pack of gimps from the local zerg depot shows up because it will be quite some time before people are pushing their stats high enough to do any meaningful raids in small numbers.

i have taken 70+ people into a game on three separate occasions and 20+ on a half dozen, we always avoided zerging ourselves and 80% of the time i ran around solo or with 1 - 2 others in those games to even though i was the guildleader, IF i wanted to i could probably mass recruit 40 or more people i know from old guilds i have played with/against in a week or less and dump them in any game with open pvp (even hh) but i do not find that fun and like to have individual recognition for whatever i end up doing.

in any case my point stands, the changes once again encourage some sort of mass communal group think socialist horse **** instead of encouraging or rewarding the superior players that when given a choice will always gravitate toward small groups of people they know.

If you can field those numbers then don't ***** about 8 people rolling around together.

8 people in a game like haven or salem is a zerg, does not matter if i could drum up the numbers to outzerg that zerg, the russian zerg or whatever other zerg to become the supreme zerg.

it is still zerging, is still lame and the game changes still reward/encourage/force zerging instead of remaining neutral or going the opposite direction. so yeah, since i like to play in small numbers i retain the right to talk **** about zergs and the patchnotes that hamper my playstyle.

I would hate to see the tears you produced playing darkfall

i PRODUCED many tears, though that tends to happen when you infiltrate and disband around 40 guilds, steal several houses and take over 2 dozen holdings

you can view around half of my darkfall shenanigans at

and a sample of about a weeks worth of tradeganks in the following video.

I just read a few pages of the world 7 incoming thread on H&H forums.
I think I'm happy I decided not to go back to H&H.
Looks like H&H is now hermitville deluxe, with the new wilderness spawn rules.
And since I'm not a coder, and can't write bots and haxx, I don't think I'd stand much chance there.
Did Claeyt shut up yet?

Could you provide a link or tell us what these new rules are? It's not in the OP of that topic and since it's 126 pages long at the moment....

Edit: Also, HH's server just crashed. The first sign of the apocalypse...
