Please don't troll the Help! forum. There is nothing that makes a character immune to brazier fire. Anything found that does this (short of disabling the braziers with damage) should be considered a bug and reported immediately.

Further trolling may be met with harsh penalties.

Some good ideas here. One thing I do and I didn't notice a mention of it..

I lock all my goodies in chests. Food, Inspirations, Ores and skins. This way if someone decides to break into my claim, they get nothing for their troubles.

The way I see it, If they are breaking in, I will loose these items anyway and there is a chance I will need to rebuild chests and buildings anyway.

Whenever some1 locks his chest i destroy everything, when its not locked i never touch it.

The loot barely matters.

besides: chests are ok and pretty easy to rebuild. Cabinets and sheds? not so. I never lock my storage anymore after one of my earliest bases was raided at the start of closed beta. The point of the matter is: if they got into your compound, they'll be able to do whatever the hell they want. they're not gonna be bothered by destroying a cupboard or two, so you might as well save them. (of course, i tend to just take the cupboards, if the base's close).
I have neither the crayons nor the time to explain it to you.

I thought cupboards could not be removed from the house they were built in. Is this no longer the case?

The house can be destroyed and theres a way to bug them out on another way.

Locking is a bad idea. Raiders will usually look in cupboards and sheds and if there's nothing good, there's a good chance the cupboard or shed will be left alone. Chests, locked or not, are carried off claim because you take crimes from looking in them. However once off claim, they are checked, looted, and left there. Unless they are locked, in which case they are broken. Chests also might be broken, some of them, if there are just too many of them in the way once they are all carried off. The point is, you have a much better chance of not losing your storage if you don't lock it.

No big deal , I'll have to rebuild anyway. Waste your biles... it's gonna cost so much more to replace what you lost.
