Structures Disappear

I've had a meat smoker, a kiln, 2 drying racks, and a smelter disappear. My claimed property is completely enclosed in a locked gated fence. I have 2 torches to protect items at this time. I lost my meat smoker after I blocked both gates with fence just in case someone was coming in. Do structures have a limited existence or # of uses?

Did you remember to pay the upkeep on your claim? Click the claimstone and see if the bar at the top is empty. If you forgot, then it will still be colored like it's claimed, but things will be decaying and your place is not protected.

My bread oven is gone all of a sudden, and I keep my claim paid up. WTF?
