Question about water purity

Mines & Mountains
Increasing your value in Mines & Mountains reduces your risk of falling when climbing, and also the damage you take when you do fall.
Caps Quarried stone and foraged minerals purity. Reduces the risk of cave-ins when mining.

Does that mean taking purity water with buckets as well?

What is all of this purity about ?

In my knowlegde its random, and once found the purity for water, lime, clay ETC will remain the same forever.

And there's no way of finding better purity in, anyway i'm asking because i recently saw more of such posts and people we're actually confirming this

I think I didn't explain clearly enough.

*ahem*

What I'm saying is when going for a "high purity" water hunt, aka. looking for a certain high element water with buckets from "the wild".
Does M&M proficience affect what you can find? Also is the highest element you can find 50?

You was clear enough, I however was asking why do people think this.

From my experience like I already said the purity of items founded cannot be increased, example: When I go searching for a water spot with my main which got 150M&M I will find a nice spot after several hours of hunting.

However when I go to the same spot with an alt, the purity of the water remains the same.

But the succeed on finding an spot isn't based on the M&M level, so technically with the alt it will take several hours like on my main.

So in short: No why the ***** would that increase your finding, and how would that increase it ?

Well it clearly says that it caps mineral purity and I was merely asking if water is considered as a "mineral" in this game.
I was just concerned about wasting time with a lowly alt hunting water spots not knowing that I'd been capped to 2% (for example) without X amount of M&M.

But you answered my question and I can now continue my quest for water.

PS. I never said anything about INCREASING the chances of finding better water, I was merely worried about the CAP.
But yeah, if you are capped, then someone with better proficience will find better water IF it was so. :P

You are wrong :). Find a spot with lets say - 7%, 45+ element mushroom or grass. Spawn an alt there and check what you get. Some things like water are unaffected by skills, some are.
