gluttony vs healing values

So it seems, with the new recipe complexity, that basically, you want tier 3 everything.

Let's change that, to add purpose to making lower tier crops as well.

How about.. For healing values, inverse the modification matrix that is used for gluttony.
So, tier 1 foods will be better at restoring health, but worse for gluttony and vice versa.

Tier 3 are harder to get, why shouldn't they be much better.

I think you read my post wrong. I am not complaining about tier 3 stuff giving better gluttony values.
I am talking about the healing (regen) values, that haven't been affected at all, by the update.

I think it'd be nice if those worked exactly the other way around.
So food made from tier 3 stuff is best for gluttony
and tier 1 stuff is best for healing.
Currently, I can see tier 1 and 2 products becoming extinct, after people reach tier 3 influence on all their fields.
It'd give continuing to make lower tier stuff some purpose.

I don't consider my personal experience that great, but its not easy to maintain tier 3, sure if you have the time to source enough hay then you can, and maybe once I figure it all out I can get a good supply of wheat, but I haven't done yet. So my argument is that why should tier 1, which anyone can produce, be the BEST, at anything. TBH for healing all you really need is quantity, if you can grow a field of cabbages then just get the plenty high enough and figure out a storage solution, if that doesn't work then learn how to hunt and eat roasted meat.

But tier 1 food is still best for healing, because it's cheap and easy to make.

While getting a field up to tier 3 is a pain and takes craptons of hay, I do not agree with you that it is hard to keep it at tier 3, once you get there. You need only 1 harvest cycle, with a few pieces of hay, after a tier 3 harvest , to get it back up.

While you may enjoy eating 100 purity 0 cabbage cakes to regen your biles, that's not really my idea of fun. And hunting for food is for noobs. Roasted meat doesn't help regen my stats, I'd have to hunt all day.
Where you say "for healing all you need is quantity", I say, there lies the problem. There's enough grind in the game already.

What are you doing that you would need 100 cabbage cakes to regen?
That's 1250 blood, phlegm, YB and 2000 BB. So we are talking about raiding, yes?

If your biles are so high then most likely you have some purity crops. 11% cakes is already 2x more humours healed.

1250 in all humours is a lot. You can really do many things with this amount. So the amount of fuel (because that's what healing food is) should also be high.
