Also, if you get your alt into the house, just lift the chair and move it somewhere else. Then log in your main.

I thought that lifting a "mount" (chair, loom, etc) with someone in it was fixed at some point in the past due to a particular bug with it. Maybe just the bug was fixed and this is still doable. (Some things you just don't get to play with when you're a hermit.)

The second client+alt and moving the box behind my chair was successful. My legs were near buckled with cramping. (my alt did pick up an indian feather learing survival skills though) didn't need to move the chair at all and since then i have risked sitting and standing and am okay. Big thanks to all help from the forums. I'm still not sure if this issue is technically a bug or just terrible placement of furniture (you should see my real house) either way I hope anyone else with the problem can solve it this way. Now I just have to figure out how to get rid of all these lean-to's.

I got a message back from loftar on this with some other possible solutions:

I'll try to think of a fix for it, but in the meantime, he could probably use another character to sit in the chair or lift it, which should prevent him from logging back into it.
