You don't?

Of course not, and neither does anyone I know. I've never understood why people do.

Because it makes multi-clients more effective and helps with the crippling grind in nearly every aspect of the game.

or you could just buy it, average hay price is like 5s, need something like 300 - 400 hay to take a field to t3 in a couple of harvests, 1500 - 2k silver per tier 3 field does not seem all that insurmountable to me, but hey what do i know :lol:

Your picture shows why you are bad at the game.

@Khaz~

Having a 1 field that allows me to test all the tier 3 products shows that im bad hmm, you probably had a special field for pre update t3 corn(which was ~ you know).

This is interesting. Where is the crippling grind, more specifically? What's the difference as compared to Haven, for example?

Building is a bit of a PITA in Salem, and I guess that the time sensitivity of gluttony could make it feel grindy, but more than that? Farming requires some mental attention, I guess.

InB4 the tidal wave of posts. :lol:

I think you answered your own question. Building can take months and be destroyed in days. High gluttony is impossible now compared to 6 months ago unless you're willing to grind trees for bins for the next 4 months. Farming requires days of hay gathering to reach tier 3 for the new food.

....and the Wiki needs dev input to help new players understand the systems better.

....but hell, it is the "Crafting MMO", so I'm okay with the grind. I really am. I just wish I could catch the old humour monsters someday, (sigh) but that will prob never happen.
