To me it means that demand is still higher than supply. In free market economy price should be going up then. I simply refuse to accept any argument of the "stall prices are too high" kind as long as all stalls are taken. In fact there is only one way to properly balance stall costs - to have them constantly raise when all stalls are taken and fall when there are free stalls. And not depend on number of players.

With stalls being so limited in number it should always be most resourceful groups / people controlling them. Darwoth and MM can control multiple stalls on their servers, and even while complaining about prices, they still hold them. Even when most of their stalls are empty. To me it just means that stalls might still be too cheap if people are willing to hold them without using them. Fortunatelly Darwoth is willing to sell his stalls now so the situation may change on Jamestown. Time will tell...

The fact that argopelters are so easy to get and worth so much means that someone solo can spend 2-3 hours once a month and pay for their stall. Along with the people have held the stalls so long that their bank roll is just retarded doesn't help at all. Stalls are stupid cheap and silver is way too easy to get.

I don't know about the other Servrers, but on Roanoke out of our 25 stalls, we have about 6 stalls that have been completely empty for a month (of those 2 of them for 3 months). 4 of those are owned by the CoD who are taking a break and I'm guessing have hundreds of thousands of silver to cover the cost of the stall for months. 2 Stalls have nothing but old high % pumpkin seeds for 1000s which hasn't changed since the purity "fix". 1 stall has had the same high % pumpkins with no purchase price for 3 months, and Darnok's stall has been empty a week (I think he's been taking a break also). That means out of 25 stalls, only about 14-15 of them are being used. Of those, I'd say only about 10 of them are 'active'.

But even if they are mostly empty, they are still taken. So, the prices aren't too high if the owners are willing to keep logging in and paying for the rent. Either the game will get better and those people will start stocking again, or it'll get worse and they'll let the stalls go when they decide not to come back.

mostly it seems that people buy them stock them up and then after a bit realize that it is too much effort to keep it stalked and just let it die off for the next person to grab... or they do agropelter runs to pay for it.
i just snatched one up last week and i know a hermit that snatched 2 up last week... he is paying real money to keep his stalls... and i have a group of players that holds 3 villages and an other group that is starting theif first village to help me keep the stall up.
with the effort of 4 villages to stock up my stall after rent we made 165 silver... for a weeks worth of selling...total of 1165 silver before the rent. :/

Would you mind telling us what exactly did you put on your stall and what has been sold?

This is what we've become. Please lower the rates. It's impossible to keep them up with so few people.

Currently, pretty much the only ones that keep stalls keep on to them "for the future". I know my rent and those of my town members is payed through argo hunting '-'
I have neither the crayons nor the time to explain it to you.

The going rate of stalls isn't the problem. The non-existing customer base is. The stall mechanic clearly needs work but I'd prefer that they put their effort into balancing the core game mechanics so players are brought back. No players, no trade, no need to have stalls.

Coming from the guy who has 3 of his 4 stalls in the hands of the Tribe now :).
