100% agree with this one, but you should post some idea how to make game mechanic better in I&I.
Destroying other players work is bad thing, but this game allows this, I think it is salems core mechanic :|

Of course you can blame some kid that is walking on beach and is destroying other kids sand castles only because he CAN, he is bigger and stronger and no other kids can stop him, but on that beach should be adult that would stop him and that role in salem belongs to Devs.
If they didn't made anything to stop this kid for so many months I doubt it they want this game go in other direction than that what you see right now...
faction that got enough force to kill other larger factions, being able to raid/pvp in middle/late servers age, can't be stopped after that, they can rule and destroy whatever they want to and all we can do is to wait for new server.

The whole truth in that:
1. citizens of Salem and a big guy with the beach there is a possibility to commit crimes. With this, developers have coped well.
2. On the other hand, if the big guy beach knows that with a sufficiently high probability that it will be blamed for the perfect misconduct. And may be even put in jail or shot. Therefore, the pressure of the state in "the face" of law enforcement agency and the public opinion has forced many wanting to commit crimes against unlawful actions.

But in the online game of the identity of people is anonymous and there is no established by the makers of the "police", which would have maintained the order.
Therefore, most of the people in the game are unlawfully.

Although based on the statements of some representatives of MM Tribe (example, Khaz)- in real life they are a douchebag.

Sorry, my English bad.

Treaty with MM Tribe and payments of tribute has only one alternative way, and this is way to permadeath.
Newbie gets nothing in return, so his true role is the role of a slave.

Do you think that gamers love to be slaves?

It seems that Badich is your maddening pain. But there is not Badich in the game.

There is only your pain and your unfair competition.

I am one of these so called 'slaves' and all I can say is you are talking complete bollocks. Yes I pay the treaty, I pay roughly 22 worth of silver (two beaver skins) every day to keep my, rather sizable claim, safe and protected. However it is not just from the Tribe but from all raiders. I am not a fighter, that is not what I enjoy. I enjoy building and working together with my friends (also Treaty payers) and surviving in this world. So being able to pay a small fee to the strongest players on the sever and know that if I do get broken into the culprits will end up having their scalps used as the tribe's bog roll makes me very happy.

The Tribe don't limit me on how I play or how I should build. They don't force me to do labor or gather for them. The Tribe instead gives me the game I want, a peaceful world where I, and my friends, can play and enjoy ourselves.
Do not argue with idiots, for they will pull you down to their level, then beat you with experience.

I view the treaty very much like the childhood bullying tactic "Stop Hitting Yourself". Here we have the Tribe holding onto your fist within in inch of your head, and you're paying them to stop slamming your own fist into your face. They start with the usual hitting and taunting with "stop hitting yourself" until you cave and pay. Once you've paid, they will stop. But if you fail to pay they will begin again in and endless loop until the Tribe loses power or the victim changes servers.

The picture above proves otherwise. Also, this thread: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=6470 made just last night. It's true that thanks to the tribe, most other raiders aren't doing much or are laying low waiting. But they are still there and always will be. Only the tribe's constant efforts keep them at bay.

How much I know:
1. MM Tribal established a siege weapon and pre-clamed adjacent territory.
2. Guys this city tried to destroy this tool, but one of them had left their traces.

By the way, with your position, your boss is also a Raiders. And you have to kill him.
