You can, in theory, find 100% nodes. No guarantees that purity after processing will be that high, either.

16/9 is ratio of ore / lime used for best results without diluting the ore too much when producing your bulk bars.
You normally get a cycle of like 2 bar, 2 bar, 1 bar, 2 bar, 2 bar 1 bar or so when using 16/9 ore.
However, after you get a 1 bar cycle when using a 16/9 ratio, it means the next cycle, even if you use 25x ore, will yeild 1 bar, due to how the rounding up and background smelter statistics work. So you can produce 2,2,1 bars of your normal mix 16/7, then after you make your 1 pure bar (25 ore), you go back to the 16/7 cycle.
Or something like this, i personally have not smelted in a couple months though so your asking the wrong person ^.^
