You guessed wrong.

Trust me... with only 3 purity trees to work with... I took all POSSIBLE strikings from each (2) as soon as I possibly could, and potted them all (6) immediately...

I should add that.. of those 6.. I got 2 saplings (1 Grand Maple and 1 Oak) and 4 sticks... and planted those 2 immediately... The 2 subsequent strikings I got from the original Grand Maple that regen'd I havent potted yet and are pending...

I keep meticulous records on these things.. from the exact chemical composition of the strikings, pots, humus, and water.. to the exact time and date they were potted and/or planted.. My original post was perhaps a bit vague on on these exact details.. I was at a hotel and didnt have my notebook with me.

I grew a forest of over 350 trees.

For about 6 weeks I checked on and off and never found new cuttings. Maybe it was changed recently or the chance is so abysmal.

Yes, this indeed. At my old vault base I checked on my treewall regularly in order to plant more trees and that base was there for months... The timer is either very long or slightly random
