You guessed wrong.
Trust me... with only 3 purity trees to work with... I took all POSSIBLE strikings from each (2) as soon as I possibly could, and potted them all (6) immediately...
I should add that.. of those 6.. I got 2 saplings (1 Grand Maple and 1 Oak) and 4 sticks... and planted those 2 immediately... The 2 subsequent strikings I got from the original Grand Maple that regen'd I havent potted yet and are pending...
I keep meticulous records on these things.. from the exact chemical composition of the strikings, pots, humus, and water.. to the exact time and date they were potted and/or planted.. My original post was perhaps a bit vague on on these exact details.. I was at a hotel and didnt have my notebook with me.
