Is it because of my edit complaining about the silver cost? I did manage to find the charms I needed last night. I got lucky and found two feathers at one point very close to each other. I just happened to have arrow heads stored so I could craft them and not risk death before selling them. But in the past, it was sometimes days before I would spot a feather (perhaps due to using wandering rather than forging?).
In any case, I'm very serious about my above question: "How do you tell a boiled Witch's Hat from a non-boiled Witch's Hat? There seems to be no visual OR textual difference between the two."
After selling my charms, I immediately brought the pot and spent the time waiting for a fire to heat up and then spent another 30 minutes to boil 4 Witch Hats. I then compared it to another Witch Hat I had just picked up and could tell no difference. Did I not look closely enough?
Again, not purposely trolling; however, I am disappointed in this update.
Edit: An update that I would like to point out that prior to this thread, I had no idea what pot they were referring to or what steps I needed to follow to be able to do any of the above mentioned steps to be able to eat shrooms again. The cauldron is too far out of my reach right now and for noobs who might start today, REALLY far out of reach. As for eating roasted chestnuts, they are no where on par with restoration of health compared to either shroom prior to the poison update.
