They will simply move on, so your solution of closing Haven is very flawed. Should they close haven, people will simply leave Seatribe all together. (Or at least until purity is no longer teh suk)
I would much rather have players shifting between games based on content rather than leaving to possibly never return.
You may be right, but all those HnH players will probably stick with Jorbtar and hope for the best. Yes the purity update sucked, but they've hurt the high stat guys the last 2 updates (*****, that multi-skill bump alone was a newb weapon from heaven) and this mushroom update killed one of the high stat guys favorite foods while traveling (Witch's hats).
More importantly ask yourself this: What happens if HnH does win. Jorbtar is being given a chance here by Paradox. If HnH wins that means their Dev futures are in doubt. Their own game may hurt their Dev chances. It's almost Shakespearean.
Haven players currently have (and always have had) the option to play Salem and nearly all of them I would assume, have done so. The games are different and Salem is just not for some players. Denying them a game that they do enjoy and forcefeeding them one that they do not will not helping the devs in any possible way.
Anyways I am off to bed now, I'll check in on this thread again in the morning before work
