Wood choppings and axe purity

Postby martinuzz » Thu May 02, 2013 2:08 am

When splitting a 3% pure (39.72/20.20/20.74/19.35) block of wood, You get 0% pure (32.36/22.60/22.87/22.18) wood choppings. It seems something is dragging it down. Only thing I can think of is axe purity. Don't think it's proficiency levels. I have all skills at 50+, and hammer and nail at 100+

That's kind weird, since using a sawbuck to make boards or an axe on a log to make woodblocks doesn't change the purity. So either it's a bug or they figured we don't need pure choppings. Could be interesting if pure choppings would be more effective in lowering upkeep in farms.

Agree it's weird. Looks like the choppings get half the purity of the original item (assuming I'm doing the math right).

I do not think that axes currently have a purity, it might be skill based
