Okay, a lot of us are having trouble finding complimentary ( ie matching) purity items to make pots etc. I was thinking it might be a good idea to swop what you have for what someone else needs, thereby maybe getting what you need in return. Im not talking about huge purities here, just your average piece of woohoo 5% lime that is absolutely no use to you because its lead/merc, and your water is lead/ salt etc.
This could be done by making individual posts in trade winds, but dunno how many people are going to trawl thru pages and pages for a 4% salt/merc piece of granite.
So, any suggestions on how this might work?
(edit) Im thinking more, you can get lead/salt granite... salt/merc lime etc.. locally, you need... whatever...

The most efficient way would be to just post what you have, what you need and update the OP accordingly, so everyone can browse that instead of going through pages of posts eventually.

Yeah but I was thinking more of a centralised utility for everyone?

Have people post once what they have and update that post, and post what they need and also keep that updated with teh power of edit .. and if possible with some help from the mods we can keep the thread clean with a single post by each participant to the "exchange program". There would have to be one thread per server with 1 post per person and just keep those posts updated, and use PMs to make offers.

I think you could pull something like this off with a single thread if you have a good template and someone willing to keep up with the thread to update the OP. Require server, item purity, and who to contact. I'd also suggest noting the date of the offer so that people know when something has probably gone off the market. Maybe separate each server within the post or have three consecutive posts within the thread so that you can divide the servers and prevent confusion.
