Holy crap. This comment is so awesome it alone almost makes me want to start playing this game again. Very well put.
The sweat and blood shed by its people had established a strong foundation upon which the most powerful entity in the world would be built.

Over the last few years there have been quite a few girl gamers getting up in arms about the general misogyny & harassment in games.

Sure, misogyny, "hey i'm a girl" "OMG I LOVE U TAKE MY ITEMS" you get more items and cheers for just sayng you are a girl than hateful words.

So shut up because i'm hungry.

Anyone going around declaring their gender without any prompt whatsoever deserves all the sexist comments they get.

Oh yes Sir sorry Sir I shall run to the kitchen immediately
Seriously its good its being talked about, but it will be better when there is nothing to talk about, hell, women are just people too, we dont want to be treated as special, or as special needs, just as people.
And when that happens there will be no need for a thread like this.
Now get the ***** out to the garage and fix my car, and put these shelves up, and take the trash out, and go kill dinner, and stop scratching your balls and belching you foul foul creatures.

and @ Potjeh, yeah you have people keep calling you a girl and you will know how it feels, Im not a bloke, I'm not He, or this guy, or Him....

That wouldn't be unprompted, though.

My experience is, it depends on which person you meet. (duh!)
Some are nice and helpful, others are loud idiots that only seem able to swear and provoke for no apparent reason.
I played a lot of MMO's but i really never had any problems with abuse from males.
Most are actually pretty nice.

Edit: oops, this is my new alt that keeps my keys safe and it was not my intention of ever posting with it.
