Not really needed. I have absolutely no problems getting land flat without any of the tools. Now, if the tool was smarter and told me where to make the "level" mark at to minimize work, I might use it.

Other tools... yeah, they're nearly indispensable, but not the land measurement.

You said you wanted a tool to flatten the ground, I gave you one, The most popular one actually, And you could always suggest such ideas to the Ender's client thread.
Btw, the developer of the client made a lot of work into it and is updating it pretty often, Just try to leave a post, He reads all the posts on his thread and checks if it is possible to do, 60% of the features there are stuff that were suggested by players, So again, Go and suggest that if you want the tool to be "Smarter" than it already is.

You can eyeball it pretty good actually using enders as a visual guide. I got one within something like +/- 200 dirt for a 15k dirt project.
It's been neat to see the evolution of a game. Salem has come so far, and still has far to go. Although frustrating, I think it's been an experience worth the effort.

I think all there is to explain is that when a dude with 6 posts necros a thread it gets locked:
viewtopic.php?f=3&t=3259#p46327

But when these guys do it apparently its fine.

Helps if we define what, exactly, a necro is. It's fine and encouraged in some places, such as Ideas & Innovations, if someone has something new to add to an idea that hasn't been touched in a few months, but is bringing up a month old conversation that was short lived and mostly inactive really hurting anything by reviving it if someone is trying to start the conversation up again? I'll agree that what effectively counts as a +1 post should get the poster a warning for spamming and a ban if the person is persistent in doing such things.

I just wanted to express my gratitude to jorb & loftar, and rather than making a new thread, I found one that was already created, and used it. Nothin wrong with that, imo.

Except that it's a necro of an old thread. Very bad manners, Mushibag. Now everyone has to go back and read all the previous posts so we know what you're talking about. Or just be confused.
