But how many years haven was developed?

I believe haven development started 2007 or 2008, and was released 2009. Development stalled at around 2010 as Salem was in the works. So haven is about 3 years of development time + 3 stagnation years, Salem about 3 years of development. Salem also is backed by a publisher, has more developers than just 2 university students, and loftar and jorb had further experience with developing games when they started Salem than haven. I think it's fair to say, Salem had equal if not more development power behind it, and that development power isn't a fair excuse for why it's such a piece of ****.

Is this the same competent gamer that got rolled on a weekly basis until everyone left for the new servers and finally gave him a chance to lord over the 40 or so newbs left? And then still got a rolled a couple times afterwards? Don't tell me it's the same competent gamer that ran full-tilt everytime some red dots showed up, even when he outnumbered them 2:1. Is this the same competent gamer that needed to use a spy AND a bug to raid GH? And a bug to raid Darkest Afrikaa? Same guy that thought draining braziers for two days was the way to raid a vault, and ***** enough to get a temporary wall str rollback until the dev's noticed he was raiding like a tard? God, I hope not. That guy's a ***** joke lol

Yea, It's
the same competent gamer that is still playing,
the same competent player that doesn't ragequit after a death,
the same competent player that doesn't cry for half a year & counting about getting raided by a 'so called bug',
the same competent player that received more then some bromance from the devs,
the same competent player who will allways have an advantage over you ;)
and much more :p

He was a noob at the start (far less CB experience than many vets) without the manpower of GH or Russians, so it is no wonder that he got rolled at the start. It takes time to learn the game and it takes to time to convince people to join his cause. He very much succeded well (or at least better than most) in the art of diplomacy, propaganda, hiring workforce, spying and bug-using: all essential for a "competent" gamer in a sandbox with few to any rules.

Which reminds me: he didn't quit despite being killed over and over again by the most powerful factions at that time: he came back and won. That is admirable no matter who does that.

It sounds to me like Chief was the underdog and exactly like the protagonist whom rises from street orphan to powerful king.

lol I had pretty much bore-quit before coles and jinx came to my place, and they were the only reason I was still active in the last 2 months or so. The half-assed purity updates and my diminishing free-time finally made me quit. Didn't you ragequit when bait killed you in roan, and then sob about people bringing old politics to new servers forever?

he same competent player that doesn't cry for half a year & counting about getting raided by a 'so called bug',

If they were 'so-called bugs', I wonder why they got fixed. And I'm fairly certain he cried about the 1x1 farms 'so-called bug' for much longer than that ;)

the same competent player that received more then some bromance from the devs,

lol they don't like me at all, I was constantly ragging on them about no updates and never dueling me back in the day. I'm glad he gets bro-mance from the devs though, I suppose that IS something he has over me. Good that someone can admit he has that friendship magic too, I guess he can stop whining about GH having it now.

the same competent player who will allways have an advantage over you ;)
and much more :p

With the exception of the 3-4 weeks I was in GH, the only real advantage he ever had on me was his little zerg of injuns, since I've been mostly solo the entire game. More fun when there's the chance you can die while out on a walk and not have 5-6 mouthbreathers backing you up everytime you want to go somewhere.

The most sensible and agreeable compliment I've seen anyone give the chief, I admit it's pretty cool that he didn't quit when he was killed repeatedly and then came around to do some ****. Good on him.

No, I wasn't killed (never have been killed on Salem yet)

I do did go underground, and now I kill everyone who ever annoyed me :)

All the rest wasn't really personally pointed towards you btw :)
