Well, the two values for mercury and sulfur are now the same. I'm guessing the game defaults to the first on the list when deciding color. Which is also why all perfectly 0% pure stuff is shown as salt.

yea, i just wanted to mention i raised the multipler on the item while also changing it element, if it will work that way, Lead will be the most useful element.

Probably just mere coincidence that the RNG took the exact amount of alchemies from your lead and salt to bring up the mercury to exactly the same number your sulphur is, and since the numbers are now the same it appears mercury because when determining color the first alchemy takes precedence when two values match

As far as I can tell the items in the cooker "adjust" every hour. I've used higher and lower purity cookers. My guess is either there's more boost for higher purity, or less danger (instability changes).

Have anyone found an actual use for this "cooker"? The only point to it would perhaps to raise purity on stuff theat can be multiplied later, like seeds. Its a hassle purifying one and one brick or flint.

There doesn't seem to be a practical use for the cooker at this time. Hopefully, additions to the new purity system will make a use apparent.

i see quite a big use, since the multiplier after coocer will always be higher than before,
because of formula used to calculate it. And that is the goal - to have higher multiplier, means greater effect of items.

correct me if i am wrong.

I'm am a mathematical failhead, but could someone explain to me what would be the likely outcome in this instance;

You take an object, and using the cooker equalise say, Salt and Mercury values. You have another object and equalize Salt and Sulphur values.
Now both objects have similar Salt values, and you combine them to make another object.
What happens to the Salt value at this point? Will it drop, rise or remain static?
