Boat disappeared

I was paddling on a lake, in a canoe, while carrying a boat. My client crashed, and when I got back in the game 10 seconds later, the boat had disappeared. I was near the shore, but in deep water.
Did Claeyt shut up yet?

not a bug, a feature - when your client crashed so did your boat, youre lucky you didnt wake up at the bottom of the lake
