Destroyed clay piece. Did nothing to my (X,Y,0,0) high purity hay. So the picture with wicker man looks like a joke.

Object such as your hay (x,y,0,0) cannot be further transformed as second highest value is raised by lowering third and fourth, which, in your case are already zero.

EDIT: my numbering went haywire, correction in bold

After only two hours in the cookers, 2/4 items inside poofed, right as i checked 'em. Also, it's a pain to do all of this testing while in the darkness :( Went afk to read forums and didn't notice my phlegm go down to zero. Got knocked out inside the house and had one domesticated turkey land outside the walls and a bucket and feather inside the oven :\ For shaaaame.

an hour later, still somewhat unstable and now 8%... and I'm getting nervous, (thats plus .24 on the multiplyer)

Oh is that how it works? I certainly did not understand the description then lol - I thought it was a way of transferring high alchemy value from one item to another.

So if I have 2 items, A & B, with the following alchemies: A1,A2,A3,A4 and B1,B2,B3,B4 - what is the expected outcome? that A2 and B2 will rise at the expense of A3,A4 and B3,B4 ? But how do the items A and B relate to each other?

As you can see, I am completely confused

The items are independent of each other. Jorb answered in the announcement thread that it's just a matter of the cooker having two slots, but affecting each item individually. If A1 and B1 are the highest alchemical values for each item, and A2 and B2 are the second highest, then yes. A2 and B2 will each go up at the expense of A3,A4 and B3, B4 respectively. The second highest stat on each item goes up by 1 alchemical value each cycle of the cooker. That's why there's the whole issue of items with less than 1 in the lowest and second lowest values getting blown into the lower end of unsigned int, somehow :P

Thy dont relate, Jorb said it just so happens you have two slots to cook em in... I thought the same at first, but it will gradually raise to the highest value on A1 A2 at the expense of A3 and A4, or go pooooof

Considering i've had 4 poofs total, two after 3 alchemical points gained and two after 2 alchemical points gained, I think it's a bit too risky overall, to push stuff with high alchemical values towards a slightly higher purity at the risk of losing the items :\ But hey, good luck to whoever tries it :D

Thanks for clearing that up for me gentlemen. I feel like a fog has lifted in my mind now :)

The way I previous thought the cooker worked was much more powerful! Seems marginally useful now
