Help! too afraid to log back in

Okay so I was walking for a long time so I can find a new place to settle. I approached a house that was fenced in to see if it was claimed or not so I could loot it if it wasn't. When I got close I heard a really scary growl, I was so frightened that I check to see if I was aggro-ed then close my client. Can someone tell me what made that growling sound before I log back in?

Probably a bear, they roar and aoe aggro everything close to them with it. They despawn after ~15 minutes of nobody being in the area, so you should be fine.

Haha yes that was a bear, Ornery is right. Wait 15min. I personally would not care for waiting though, not really a big chance you get agro, bears growl all the time with our without agro
