7% humus, 6% water both merc, 0% cutting, 0% pot. tree gives 0% branch so far. (not strictly 25/25/25/25, merc is highest)

Hrm... that's disturbing. I wasn't expecting the pot to limit the tree so much. If the formula makes the pot clamp the effective range of the tree like compost bins do, and we can't ever do better than 10% granite, lime and water, then we can't do much better than 10% compost bins and humus.

Maybe it's the cutting that clamps the range, and we just need a lot of generations of trees? Or maybe you just got unlucky?

can chop a baby tree and you get a baby log with a few pieces to chop.

maybe if he used a 10% pot he would have better results.

this system is still very new and Thursday will possibly turn it all on its head anyways

Yeah and this tree growing process is brutal! I'm so impatient I want results noooooow! :)
