If this is your attitude then you should wait for the production release. See the Global Information Well for details on the term "Beta".

The best way to get rid of a clay through is to destroy it :D But seriously, you could just move it off to the side and use up the milk of lime when you need bricks or urns.

Its called humor, I already have my monster characters so I love this update.

I did some testing and concluded that in Milk of Lime, the Water outweighs the Lime's contribution 100:1.

You can use literally any lime you like and it will have NO EFFECT on the resulting material.

Your suspicion that High-Purity Water is the key to everything is, I believe, correct.

Crafted 5% clay from 5% milk. So i guess clay through has no influence.
But my pots from 5% clay and matched 2-3% granite/lime is only 2%.
So the water is not everithing. I did not even see no lime nor granite with purity > 3%.

Ok, so there is a 1:1 correspondence between the Milk of Lime used in a trough and the purity of the clay produced? Good to know.

Also remember that "Purity%" is a relatively meaningless number. Due to the way purity combination works, it is the Elements that matter.

Since making Gardening Pots is a crafting recipe, each material used (clay, granite, lime) will contribute equally and then their elements will be averaged together. Large drops in "purity%" are seen when combining things because the % is based on the square of the elements. Anything that makes them more evenly distributed greatly impacts the stated purity%.

Purity% is a description of the end result of a crafting process, but gives you no information on the manner in which things are combined.
