best water I've found outside the darkness is 3% best inside 5%. probably going to take a well somewhere in the darkness to get high levels

I suspect that the pictures weren't shooped. Just very old.

I guess I'm lucky, finding 47.02 (9% pure) salt water

To the person that started the High Purity Finds thread that said they couldn't find this thread, did you even look, its right here; and while the picture of the high purity water might be 'shopped, it also might not be.

Just made a pure (1%) planters pot with foraged ingredients. Used pure lime and water to make clay.

Good thing too. Never liked the constant need to rebuild things as their quality increased in hnh.

But it was good, because you had to defend your high quality buildings, here large factions got many farm-and-industry-bases instead of single huge and fortified base:/

I wonder what purity clay I get, when I use 1 piece of 4% salt lime, and a bucket of 9% salt water to make a milk of lime barrel, then add 9 more buckets of 9% water to it. Gonna test now.

Test 1: 1 piece of 4% pure lime 34.06/33.44/16.47/16.03 + 1 bucket of 9% pure water (47.02/14.09/23.21/15.09) gives 9% pure milk of lime (46.88/14.27/23.10/15.75).
This gives me 9% pure clay (46.88/14.27/23.10/15.75)

Test 2: 1 piece of 4% pure lime and 10 buckets of 9% pure water, exact same alchemy values as above gives
9% pure milk of lime (47.00/14.11/23.19/15.72).
This milk of lime can no longer be used for making clay, as it used to. Milk of lime gained a concentration value, like tanning fluid.

So it's no use making those barrels of milk of lime that way any longer.
And lime purity barely influences clay output. Water is much more important.

EDIT: with 3% pure granite and 4% pure lime it only makes 3% pure planting pots (37.70 salt) though, so it seems clay does not really contribute much there :(
EDIT 2: with 2% pure granite I got 37.69 salt pots, with 1% granite I got 37.63 salt pots. Odd. Pot quality comes out lower than lime purity, which suggest granite matters quite a bit, while the very minor difference between 1,2 and 3% granite suggest it doesn't really matter that much.
